Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you use this site or request information about Vaucan and our services, why we use it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. Vaucan is not yet available in production; for now we only collect data from people who request more information.

1. Who controls your data

Frank Peña Figueiras (operating the "Vaucan" project; "Vaucan", "we", "us"), based at Paseo de los Parques 4275-4, Villa Universitaria, Zapopan, Jalisco, C.P. 45110, Mexico, is the controller of your personal data. For any privacy matter, contact us at privacy@vaucan.ai.

2. What personal data we collect

We only collect the data you give us when you fill out the information-request form:

  • Name.
  • Email address.
  • Phone number.
  • The business type you select.

For security and spam prevention, our protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) may incidentally process your IP address and technical browser identifiers. We do not collect special-category (sensitive) data, and we use no tracking or advertising cookies.

3. Why we use your data (purposes & legal basis)

  • Handle your information request and contact you by phone, message, or email to follow up — basis: consent.
  • Product updates & relevant content (optional) — basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Protect the site and form against spam and abuse — basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

To stop optional communications, email privacy@vaucan.ai or use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails. If we ever want to use your data for a new purpose, we will ask you first.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. To run the site and the contact form we use service providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions (processors):

  • Cloudflare — site hosting and anti-spam protection (Turnstile).
  • n8n — receives and processes your information request.
  • HubSpot — contact management (CRM), once integrated.

5. International data transfers

Vaucan operates from Mexico, and some of our providers process data in other countries, including outside your region. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, where applicable).

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it. After that we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email privacy@vaucan.ai.

8. How to delete your data

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Email privacy@vaucan.ai with the subject “Delete my data” from the address you signed up with, or tell us which address it was. We will confirm removal from our records and request deletion from our processors. We complete deletion requests within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.

9. Children

This site and the form are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version, with its update date, will always be posted on this page. We will notify you of changes that require your consent.
